Statement on the Arrests Resulting from the Investigation into the Killing of

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has arrested three individuals in connection with the killing of a man in Ottawa on May 12, 2024. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old John Smith.
The arrests were made on May 14 after an extensive investigation by the RCMP's Major Crime Unit. The three individuals, who are all from Ottawa, are:
- John Doe, 25
- Jane Doe, 22
- Richard Roe, 30
The three individuals are facing charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are scheduled to appear in court on May 15, 2024.
The RCMP is not releasing any further information at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
